Standalone heat detector questions
Does WANLIN-340 require a conventional fire alarm panel?
The documented WANLIN-340 configuration provides local audible and visual alarm functions without a conventional panel. Any remote reporting path must be confirmed for the exact SKU/BOM.
What must be checked before installation?
Check detector type, spacing and coverage design, ambient temperature, nuisance conditions, mounting position, maintenance access and applicable local design requirements.
Does the manual prove export certification?
No. A product manual records operating and installation information; it is not a third-party certificate and does not establish destination-market acceptance.
What happens when the documented alarm enters silence mode?
The manual states that sound stops and the red indicator flashes rapidly for about 80 seconds, after which the alarm can resume if the threshold condition remains.
When is a heat detector considered instead of a smoke alarm?
A heat detector may be considered where normal dust, vapour or smoke can make smoke sensing unsuitable. Selection must follow the fire strategy, local rules and the actual environmental limits of the chosen configuration.
